Grazie mille anche per questo.Hai ragione, il Debussy-Elgar del '35 è uno dei suoi must assoluti.Ma anche Rossini è da avere!Spero che il suono sia migliore di quello del vecchio cd EMI che ho.
Thanks for the all AT prewar material made available here! IMHO it was the most astonishing period in Toscanini recording career! Maybe You can upload Strauss Don Quixotte with Feuermann and BBC SO (if this recording exists)? I will be also very grateful if You can upload good sounding complete Meistersinger from 1937 Salzburg Festival - Andante version masterfully prepared by Ward Marston is now OOP...
Thanks for rare Toscanini posts. For future releases, please use, is possible, Megaupload in addition at or instead Fileserve and single size 100 MB maximum.
Yes, Woytek, I have Meistersinger by Andante, but no covers. It is one of my most prized possessions. I also have the original Andante Falstaff. @Guido: I have a rehearsal of a later performance of the Enigma Variations which was the one which made me understand the work as if I had been playing in the orchestra. Amazing.
Guido, grazie mille per quest'ultima incisione! Dear Anonymous, if I may interfere, if(!) also Guido says it's ok, I can mirror posts wherever you'd like to (you will have noticed that our Guido has many other things to do).If Guido says 'va bene' I can do it.
Any chance for Megaupload links? I have some problems to download from Fileserve...
I really thank you for this rare recordings, they are great.I just have a comment about the files: The metadata information in this files is correct from track 1 to track 7, but from then on, the metadata information is missing. Do you have the correct metadata for the tracks or is it missing also on your original cd?Thanks again for this extraordinary recordings.
