The dates for Beethoven 6th in Toscanini Discography are June 22; July 16; Oct. 21 & 22, 1937 (http://www.toscaninionline.com/disco5.htm).
Similarly, the RT007 Leonore No.1 is dated from June 1, 1939.
You indicate June 1, 1937 for both recordings. Incidentally, Wilhelm Furtwangler was conducting his famous Gotterdammerung at Covent Garden that evening. :)
It would be quite a day in London's musical life, then.
Looks like I am very late to this party. I am 80 uyears old, and have been collecting TOSCANINI's recordings & broadcasts since I was 13. It is always a pleasure to find someone else who shares this strangw compulsion. Thank You PAUL
A web site details the history of the recording sessions for this Pastoral : https://concertsarchiveshd.fr/toscanini-bbc-so-ii-beethoven-symphonies-n1-6/.
The sound on the published FLAC is also clearer but with many cracks.
