I continue with the first CD of the new series, which I'll alternate with other AS. 
Unfortunately I have already found two "bronzed" Koussevizky disc 
("Eroica" & Brahms 3-4), but others remain...

Great performance of the Mahler Fourth.
And very good transfers as usual with Russian Revelation. Keep them coming!

You know, I was very positively surprised by this Mahler 4th. Even with all its instrumental crudeness, I definitely prefer it to the dull suavity of so many European interpretations. Oistrakh and the Moscow Phil really uncovered the grotesquerie of this score. Thank you Guido!

@andrew I agree, Oistrakh like other interpreters of that area often give to Mahler a "Shostakovician rawness" which in some cases (Kondrashin-Sixth!) results extremely appropriate.
