  2. Thank you so much for this valuable upload of superb live broadcast performances, better IMO than the RCA Victor 78s.

Unfortunately the AS-Disc transfer consists of VERY dim NBC Radio Network line checks--obtained from a certain Mr. K. M.?--with heavy compression and limited to about 4500 Hz top end. For my OWN use and archive, I've produced, after about 90 minutes' work, an "alternative" version, with much less disk crackle; somewhat improved presence and bass (at least to a small extent); readjustment of the "collapsing" level as ASZ progresses to the final climaxes; and elimination of the hollow, minimalist fake stereo effects: three single channel mono FLACs, plus somewhat reduced sized covers, zipped into a folder that is available for only 30 days:

It appears that it is not possible to download the 8H Haggis enhanced version from https://www36.zippyshare.com/v/leoAhNTA/file.html without having to install new software on my PC, which I am unwilling to do. Can you please tell me if I am missing something? Thanks very much!

  5. Dr. Carlson, when you go to the Zippyshare link, right-click on the "Download Now" box and select "Open Link in New Tab". Then just save the file (click on "OK"). That bypasses all the Zippyshare BS. Let us know if this works for you. Burt

    Hi Burt,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10. Unfortunately, when I right click on DOWNLOAD NOW, "Open Link in New Tab" is not on the drop down menu. Do you have any other advice?

    Thanks again!

    Ron

  8. Dr. Carlson,
I'm running Windows 10 as well. Go to the link provided by 8H Haggis, but do not left-click on ANYTHING. Right-click on the "Download Now" box. If there is the option to "Open Link In New Window" select this. If not, if there is the option to "Save Link As..." select this. If you are able to save the file, please let us know. Burt

    Hi Burt,

Please call me Ron. It worked after I allowed pop-up windows in the settings menu in Google Chrome. Thank you very much!

    Be well!

  12. Just discovered this, thank you!
I wonder if anyone could share 8H Haggis's restored version? That would be much appreciated, too.
