"Le post du printemps" 3




Again a Sacre, this time conducted by Eduard van Beinum in the immediate postwar period. And 2 other important recordings realized by the dutch maestro in the middle 50s, taken from a LP Epic (LC 3274).

Hi Puck, you're very kind as always. Monteux '57 is impressive for an incredible "confidence" with the score: he don't need effetcs,or bla bla bla... he's just walking with "his brother" :)

Thanks for van Beinum too. Even after a day of listening to Markevitch, Monteux, Ormandy, ... his version comes over well - energetic, committed, dangerous, edgy. Thanks for this one too!
