De Sabata - Mozart Requiem (video fragment)
This is the only video fragment I know with De Sabata conducting.
Very short, unfortunately.
From the Mozart Requiem conducted in Rome (1941) for Wolfgang Amadé - 150th of death - anniversary.
For your eyes only ;-)
Please don't upload on YT or elsewhere.
And of course, if you have evidence of other De Sabata video sequences, please let me know..!!

Beethoven - Symphony no. 5 (+ Respighi) NYPO De Sabata
3, 5, 6, 8... All the surviving Beethoven conducted by De Sabata is here.
Well, not exactly. According to the recording list published in the book "Victor De Sabata - Teatro alla Scala, 1992" a private tape of the Ninth Symphony with Cigna, Barbieri, Gallo, Pasero seems to exist somewhere... yes, but where? :-/

Verdi - Macbeth - De Sabata (1952)
There is a little problem with this Macbeth. Due to a heavy loss of quality in the radio broadcast, a fragment of the Finale Act I was substituted with a recording of Leyla Gencer (1960). The Emi remastering contains this "fake" but I've included in the folder a wav file with the original Callas - De Sabata.

In the Eroica, Sibelius etc - De Sabata (CD Decca) post I've asked for the Ring cycle conducted by Hans Swarowsky in Prague (late 60's).
Now we have it! - Thank you again, Wagnerite.

Beethoven: Symphony no. 6 (+Mossolov, De Sabata etc) - Victor De Sabata
Some of the rarest De Sabata "studio" documents, wonderfully restored and presented after many years of absence. Apart from a very good - but not unforgettable - Pastoral Symphony, we have the opportunity to listen the tone poem "Juventus" conducted by the composer and a white hot performance of Iron Foundry by Mossolov.
