Wonderful, Guido! I like this one very much.
There is even a Furtwängler's Tchaikovsky 4th from 1951 - I don't know which orchestra - do you have this too?

Hi, I have tried your password - laureate - and it does not work.

try typing the password and not copying it: using 7zip you can also see the letters instead of asterisks

@Cassubian: I know Furtwangler's Tchaikovsky 4th (Vienna 1951, I believe). I was thrilled with the idea of a Furtwangler performance of that symphony (a personal favorite) but I found the recording quite disappointing...

You have been a busy man, Guido! But what joy to find new posts! Many many thanks....

I think that Furtwängler's Fourth with the Vienna Philharmonic is a studio recording, which may be the reason for finding it disappointing. I have no problems with the first and second movements but the Finale is a 'let down'. I guess it would have turned out quite different had it been a live performance.

Thanks for this Tchaikovsky 'alla-Furtwängler'
